Rolex Sky-Dweller 336934

The Sky-Dweller in Oystersteel with a fluted white gold bezel: second time zone, annual calendar and calibre 9002.

The 336934 is the Sky-Dweller in Oystersteel with a fluted white gold bezel. The Sky-Dweller, introduced in 2012, is one of Rolex's most complex watches: it combines a second time zone, read on a rotating disc off-centre on the dial, with an annual calendar that distinguishes months of 30 and 31 days and needs correcting only once a year, on 1 March.

The month appears in one of twelve apertures around the dial, and everything is set via the rotatable Ring Command bezel, which couples the crown in turn to the date, the local time and the reference time. In 2023 the Sky-Dweller received calibre 9002; the 336934 thereby succeeded the 326934. The power reserve is about 72 hours, and the 42 mm case is water-resistant to 100 metres.

On a pre-owned example we test all functions in addition to the usual points: the operation of the Ring Command bezel, the change of date and month and the setting of the second time zone. We also look at the white gold bezel, the bracelet and clasp, and the set. Anyone looking for a simpler watch with two time zones will find it in the GMT-Master II.

Questions about the 336934

What is an annual calendar?

A calendar that knows which months have 30 and which have 31 days. On the Sky-Dweller the date therefore needs correcting only once a year, on 1 March.

What is the difference between the 336934 and the 326934?

The main difference is the calibre: the 336934 has the 9002, which in 2023 succeeded the 9001 of the 326934. Functions and appearance, with second time zone, annual calendar and Ring Command bezel, have remained the same.

Can I sell or trade in my 336934 with you?

Yes. You can offer a 336934 as an outright sale, on consignment or as a trade-in against another watch. Every request is assessed by hand; a proposal only follows afterwards and is never guaranteed in advance. Read more in our guide to selling.
