Tudor Black Bay Fifty-Eight Navy Blue 79030B

The blue Black Bay Fifty-Eight: the same 39 mm case and calibre MT5402, with a navy blue dial and bezel.

The 79030B is the Black Bay Fifty-Eight Navy Blue, introduced in 2020. Case, size and movement are the same as those of the black 79030N: 39 mm steel, water-resistant to 200 metres, and the in-house calibre MT5402 without a date, with about 70 hours of power reserve and a COSC certificate.

The difference lies in colour and finish. Dial and bezel are navy blue, and the gilt accents of the black version gave way to silver-coloured hands and indices. That gives the watch a cooler, more modern look, while the proportions that make the Fifty-Eight so wearable remain unchanged. The Navy Blue was supplied on a steel bracelet or on a strap.

On a pre-owned example we look at the blue aluminium bezel, on which scratches and, after years in the sun, fading can become visible, at the luminous material, at the bracelet and clasp, and at the completeness of the set. For a version on a strap we state whether the original buckle is present. If you are torn between blue and black, you can compare both versions with us when they are available, or give us a sourcing request.

Questions about the 79030B

What is the difference between the 79030B and the 79030N?

Only the colour and finish: a navy blue dial and bezel with silver-coloured accents against black with gilt accents. Case, size, movement and water resistance are the same.

Does the blue bezel fade?

Anodised aluminium can slowly lighten under the influence of sunlight and wear. We state it when a bezel is noticeably faded.

Can I sell or trade in my 79030B with you?

Yes. You can offer a 79030B as an outright sale, on consignment or as a trade-in against another watch. Every request is assessed by hand; a proposal only follows afterwards and is never guaranteed in advance. Read more in our guide to selling.

What if no 79030B is available?

Then we search for one. Use watch sourcing to tell us which version, condition and set you are looking for. We will contact you as soon as we find a suitable example; whether and when that happens cannot be guaranteed in advance.
