The 25407N is the Pelagos 39, introduced in 2022. With it Tudor brought the Pelagos down to a size that can be worn every day: 39 mm titanium, without a helium valve and without a date. The result is a sober, light dive watch that combines the technology of the larger Pelagos with the proportions of the Black Bay Fifty-Eight.
The in-house calibre MT5400 has about 70 hours of power reserve and a COSC certificate. The bezel turns in one direction and has a ceramic insert, and the watch is water-resistant to 200 metres. Like the larger Pelagos, it comes with a titanium bracelet with a spring-loaded extension clasp and an additional strap.
Titanium is light and resistant to seawater, but it does scratch, and those scratches show differently from steel. On a pre-owned example we therefore look at the titanium case and bracelet, at the ceramic bezel and the operation of the clasp, and at the completeness of the set, including the extra strap. Because the reference is recent, an example may still carry manufacturer's warranty; the guarantee card is decisive.
