Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore Chronograph 26470OR

The 42 mm Royal Oak Offshore Chronograph in pink gold, with calibre 3126/3840.

The 26470OR is the 42 mm Royal Oak Offshore Chronograph in 18 ct pink gold, made from 2014 to 2021 and succeeded by the 26238OR. Case, calibre and construction are the same as those of the steel 26470ST: a self-winding 3126 movement with chronograph module 3840 and about 50 hours of power reserve, a Méga Tapisserie dial with three sub-dials and a date, and water resistance to 100 metres.

The pink gold version is usually worn on a strap, in rubber or leather. The part of the reference after the full stops, such as .OO.A002CR.02, codes the dial and strap among other things; the full reference is on the certificate and in the description of every watch. Gold gives the Offshore a warmer, weightier presence than steel, without changing anything about the character of the design.

Gold is softer than steel. In our assessment we therefore pay extra attention to dents and scratches on the bezel and lugs, and to signs of polishing, which can erase the contrast between brushed and polished surfaces. We also test the chronograph, the crown and the pushers, and check the strap and clasp and the set, with certificate and guarantee card.

Questions about the 26470OR

What is the difference between the 26470OR and the 26470ST?

The material: 18 ct pink gold against steel. Movement, size and functions are the same; the gold version is heavier and shows wear sooner.

What does OR mean in the reference?

OR stands for or rose, pink gold. At Audemars Piguet the letters after the model number give the material: ST for steel, OR for pink gold, BA for yellow gold and BC for white gold.

Can I sell or trade in my 26470OR with you?

Yes. You can offer a 26470OR as an outright sale, on consignment or as a trade-in against another watch. Every request is assessed by hand; a proposal only follows afterwards and is never guaranteed in advance. Read more in our guide to selling.

What if no 26470OR is available?

Then we search for one. Use watch sourcing to tell us which version, condition and set you are looking for. We will contact you as soon as we find a suitable example; whether and when that happens cannot be guaranteed in advance.
