Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore Diver 15710ST

The steel Royal Oak Offshore Diver: 42 mm, an inner rotating diving ring and calibre 3120.

The 15710ST is the steel Royal Oak Offshore Diver, introduced in 2010. Unlike most dive watches it has no rotating outer bezel: the diving scale sits on an inner ring beneath the crystal and is set with a second crown at ten o'clock. That preserves the octagonal Offshore bezel with its screws.

The case measures 42 mm and is water-resistant to 300 metres; the dial has the Méga Tapisserie pattern and a date. Calibre 3120 has about 60 hours of power reserve. The Offshore Diver was supplied on a rubber strap, in keeping with its use in and around the water. It was made until 2021; its successor is the 15720ST with calibre 4308.

On a pre-owned example we look at both crowns and the operation of the inner ring, the finishing of the case, the condition of the rubber strap and clasp, and the completeness of the set. As with any dive watch, the actual water resistance of a pre-owned example depends on the gaskets; we state it when they have been tested recently. Anyone looking for an Offshore with a chronograph will find it in the 26470ST.

Questions about the 15710ST

Why does the Offshore Diver have two crowns?

The main crown operates the movement: winding and setting time and date. The second crown, at ten o'clock, turns the diving scale on the inner ring, so the octagonal bezel can remain fixed.

Is the 15710ST suitable for diving?

It was designed as a dive watch and is water-resistant to 300 metres. On a pre-owned watch the actual water resistance depends on the gaskets; unless we state a recent test, we do not guarantee it.

Can I sell or trade in my 15710ST with you?

Yes. You can offer a 15710ST as an outright sale, on consignment or as a trade-in against another watch. Every request is assessed by hand; a proposal only follows afterwards and is never guaranteed in advance. Read more in our guide to selling.

What if no 15710ST is available?

Then we search for one. Use watch sourcing to tell us which version, condition and set you are looking for. We will contact you as soon as we find a suitable example; whether and when that happens cannot be guaranteed in advance.
