Patek Philippe Nautilus 5811/1G

The 41 mm white gold Nautilus with date, introduced in 2022 after the end of the 5711/1A.

The 5811/1G is the Nautilus with date that Patek Philippe introduced in 2022, after the steel 5711/1A had left the collection in 2021.

The design follows that of its predecessor: the porthole-shaped case, the octagonal bezel, the horizontally embossed blue dial and the integrated bracelet. The major difference is the material: the 5811/1G is entirely in white gold, case and bracelet alike.

The case measures 41 mm, slightly more than the 40 mm of the 5711/1A. Inside is the self-winding calibre 26-330 S C with a gold central rotor, visible through the sapphire caseback.

White gold is softer than steel and shows wear in its own way, so on a pre-owned 5811/1G we assess the edges of case and bracelet and the transitions between brushed and polished surfaces with particular care. We compare the numbers with the certificate and check the movement and the clasp.

What a complete set includes is explained in our guide to box and papers.

Questions about the 5811/1G

Is the 5811/1G the successor to the 5711/1A?

It takes that place in the collection: it appeared after the end of the 5711/1A and follows the same design. It is, however, in white gold rather than steel and measures 41 rather than 40 mm.

Can I sell or trade in my 5811/1G with you?

Yes. You can offer a 5811/1G as an outright sale, on consignment or as a trade-in against another watch. Every request is assessed by hand; a proposal only follows afterwards and is never guaranteed in advance. Read more in our guide to selling.

What if no 5811/1G is available?

Then we search for one. Use watch sourcing to tell us which version, condition and set you are looking for. We will contact you as soon as we find a suitable example; whether and when that happens cannot be guaranteed in advance.
